These days, the wedding itself is often just one part (albeit the most important one!) of celebrations. This is especially true in Puglia. Depending on the preferences of you and your guests, a long weekend of beach wedding festivities can last anywhere from three to five days. Here are some pre and post-wedding beach party ideas to make your beach wedding weekend in Puglia an entire holiday to reminisce about for years to come

Pre-Wedding Activities

And then the evening before the wedding, there is, of course, the option to have a traditional rehearsal dinner as is popular in many cultures. You’ll have the option to do a full buyout in order to thank your guests for coming. Consider making this a beachfront dinner filled with lots of local and fresh ingredients from our celebrated Apulian producers. We can organize a barbeque or a splendid seafood feast; whatever it is you prefer. Expect serious bonus points if you arrange a varied menu from the one that will be at the wedding itself. If you’d like to set-up a different kind of rehearsal dinner, we, as Apulian, would recommend that you try the “Festa in Piazza” experience, where various local delicacies are lined up on rustic-style tables to form a sort of mini food market.

Post-Wedding Activities

After you’ve officially tied the knot, don’t let the party end quite yet. Post-wedding day, many couples arrange a day at the beach, either with family, friends or a mix of everyone. You might want to go with a traditional brunch, international-style, or arrange a midday BBQ to get everyone outside again, recovering from hangovers (!) and incorporate more quality time into the weekend. Another option is a light, healthy lunch detox by the sea complete with salads, fresh fruits and vegetables, squeezed juices, and perhaps light cocktails, white wine, and rosé in the afternoon. A full buyout is a courteous way to handle the event for your guests who have traveled from all over to celebrate with you. Otherwise, we can certainly arrange a buy-out of specific spaces and timeslots.

Consider one last activity before everyone flies back home: why not book a group yoga class, mini 15-minute massages, or section of an area by the pool for family time complete with sunbathing, swimming, and board games?
