Born in the late 1990s as a sports facility with a swimming pool, sports courts, and a bar, COCO has undergone a major transformation since the early 2000s, progressively evolving into a contemporary hospitality project.
The turning point came with the entrepreneurial vision of the Chiarappa family and, in particular, under the leadership of Dr. Gianfranco Chiarappa, who defined a clear direction: to create a beach club capable of combining exclusivity, high-quality services, and freedom of experience.
In 2012, the concept expanded further with the addition of a beach establishment and an events venue, giving life to a fully structured beach club designed to offer complete days of sea, relaxation, entertainment, and high-level dining.
Since 2014, COCO Beach Club has been awarded the Blue Flag recognition by the Municipality of Polignano a Mare every year, confirming its environmental quality and high standards of service.
In 2025, the club received the Best Italian Beach Award, consolidating its position among the top beach destinations in Italy. In 2026, it achieved further international recognition with the Destination Marketing Award, confirming its ability to enhance the territory and attract high-quality tourism.
